Your morning and night routine will differ based on the products used. Most specialists recommend cleansing the skin first, followed by toner, serum, eye cream, and moisturizer. Lastly, use high-SPF sunscreen in the morning and retinol and vitamin C products at night.

Use your serums starting from thinnest to thickest. This ensures that lighter, watery serums can penetrate your skin first without having to get through heavier creams. 

Use the same rule for other products as well. Apply lighter formulations before heavier ones. The richer formulas help to keep all the nourishing ingredients sealed in. However, acid-based serums are the exception, as they should be applied first.

For example, using Vitamin C and alpha-hydroxy acids at the same time may irritate the skin.
